Based out of Charleston, South Carolina, Andrea's made her mark as a budding shoe designer in a tightly knit community of cobblers. Andrea's love for shoes began at a young age. Given her advanced design education and passion for healthy feet, it's no surprise she's turned her passion for shoe design into a reality.
Forming any style of shoe around a customized, comfortable shoe architecture is the mantra of Andrea Jahde Shoe Design.
Andrea graduated with honors with a masters degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University's College of Architecture. She spent her thesis year studying the ergonomics of footwear; arriving at a more comfortable high heel solution.
The Andrea Jahde design focus derives from heavy influences from old-world, handcrafted shoe-making intended to last forever. By combining her appreciation for biomechanics and comfort, her forthcoming line of high heeled shoes for women pursues beauty and function –– fashion and foot health.
